Job Summary: Clinical Lead in North East Lincolnshire

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead to provide leadership across the primary and secondary care interface in North East Lincolnshire. The role involves working with partners across organizations to identify and drive forward improvements benefiting patients and clinicians. As a self-starter, the Clinical Lead will collaborate with a virtual team of Clinical Leads across North East Lincolnshire and the wider Integrated Care Board (ICB).

Main Duties:

The Clinical Lead will:

  • Provide strategic and clinical input into the Primary and Secondary Care Interface Group.
  • Focus on reducing health inequalities and address this challenge through collaboration with system partners.
  • Support system change to promote improvement, innovation, and address unwarranted variation, with a focus on patient safety and quality.
  • Translate national policy into local implementation, supporting engagement with clinical and care professionals.
  • Support effective workforce redesign, developing and embedding a multidisciplinary approach.

Job Responsibilities:

The Clinical Lead will collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior colleagues, Place Directors, GPs, consultants, management teams, and more. The role involves leadership responsibilities, planning and organizational tasks, policy and service development, research and audit responsibilities, and managing resources effectively.

Person Specification:

  • Essential qualifications include GMC Registration and evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Desirable qualifications include expertise in primary care development and/or professional education and development, along with a postgraduate qualification.
  • Essential experience includes working as part of a multi-professional senior leadership team, managing sensitive situations, and effective partnership working.
  • Skills and competencies required include exceptional communication skills, strong negotiating and influencing skills, data/information analysis skills, and the ability to develop and sustain personal relationships.

The ICB welcomes all applicants, but it's important to note that they currently do not hold a Tier 2 sponsorship license.
