Job Description:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Operations Process Manager within the Operations department of a prominent Financial Services company. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in spearheading process change and optimization within the Operations Department.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the Operations process strategy and implementation roadmap in collaboration with the Head of Operations.
- Lead system change initiatives within the Operations department, spanning across all product lines.
- Take charge of thorough and robust user acceptance system testing on all essential strategic projects.
- Act as the resident expert in Operations processes for all pertinent projects, providing in-depth process knowledge.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders including Project, Strategy, IT, etc., to ensure that all parties are consulted on the approach to Operational change.
- Ensure that all procedure manuals for the team remain relevant and up to date, making necessary updates as new system changes occur.
- Lead and inspire the team members responsible for Operational change.
- Ensure effective planning is in place and maintain open communication channels to achieve team objectives.
- Oversee the management of individuals through performance reviews and appraisals.
- Contribute to the development and training of team members.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business or Finance-related discipline is a prerequisite.
- Previous experience in people leadership is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under strict deadlines.
- Previous experience within complex project structures is advantageous.
- Proven experience in managing change programs is a plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency in test management.
- Enthusiastic, positive, and analytical thinker.
- Highly self-motivated with a capacity for independent work.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to maintain collaborative relationships.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to drive 'Smart' solutions.
- Ability to resolve complex problems.
