About Børnehuset Landsbyen:

Børnehuset Landsbyen is a childcare institution catering to children aged 0-6 years. We are currently seeking a Daily Manager for a 37-hour workweek with full-time focus on leadership. Through an engaged and motivating approach towards children, parents, and staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high pedagogical expertise and quality in a setting with 120 children and 30 staff members. Landsbyen is a sustainable, newly built institution located in the heart of Hvidovre. Our approach is guided by the values of inclusivity, consideration, and curiosity towards the children at Landsbyen, as well as in our collaborative efforts. We aim to promote sustainability among the children and provide them with tools to take responsibility for their own and our collective future.

Leadership Expectations:

As a leader, you will:
  • Be a daily manager with a high level of professional reflection, contributing to creating a clear translation of overarching strategies and implementing them in pedagogical practices in collaboration with the staff. This will occur through close leadership cooperation, where systematic dialogue and sparring play a significant role in creating the best framework for daily childcare.
  • Value structure and recognize how freedom within a structured daily routine contributes to a flow in practice that accommodates the realities and frameworks of pedagogical daily life. You contribute to creating a "why, how, and when".
  • Have a flair for administrative work and find energy in piecing together the puzzle between pedagogy and administration. Responsibility and loyalty come naturally to you, and you inspire with your positive approach.

  • In collaboration with the staff group, you will be responsible for developing the individual department's goals and action plans, and be pedagogically responsible for ensuring that we collectively have learning environments that are developmental and inclusive.
