Snapshot of Your DayAs a key member of the Enterprise Data and Platform Service team, your role will focus on rolling out the enterprise Data Catalog across various domains. In your capacity as both Product Owner and Service Manager, you'll work closely with the catalog Product Manager. Together, you'll engage with stakeholders from business and data governance roles to guide the development team and ensure the catalog aligns with the requirements of different stakeholders, ultimately enhancing data discovery, governance, and the overall data shopping experience. Additionally, you'll provide support for governance programs like Data Mesh implementation and rollout. Your mission is to take this initiative to the next level and drive the company-wide rollout in the years ahead.

How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Lead the data catalog implementation and rollout in close collaboration with the data catalog Product Manager, enhancing its value for the organization by expanding its usage and footprint through onboarding additional use-cases.
- Oversee the catalog rollout roadmap, including budgeting and timeline management, while coordinating internal and external members of the global implementation team.
- Manage contracts with external suppliers for licenses and the implementation team, and drive detailed project and service planning activities, providing regular updates to the engagement manager.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from Data Governance, Data Consumers, and IT roles during requirements gathering and management.
- Understand business needs and translate them into architecture requirements, balancing them with business value.
- Provide product and implementation expertise to recommend optimal ways to implement features and utilize the system. Identify scope gaps and advise on workaround solutions when necessary.
- Assist in coordinating the operations team with strategic directions and offer support in case of escalations.
- Be a valuable contributor to an inspiring team of real data science thought leaders and experts within the ED&AA global team.
What You Bring:
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Hands-on experience in Metadata Management and related Data Management fields.
- Experience in driving international application rollouts using agile methodologies. Proficiency in implementing and configuring Collibra Data Catalog features.
- Knowledge of building workflows and metadata ingestion interfaces. Experience with Data Mesh and Data Product implementation is a plus.
- Proficient in Product/Application Ownership, Business Analysis, Business Process Management, Business or IT Consulting, or similar roles. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in business terms and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Strong analytical skills and extensive experience in making data-driven decisions. Excellent communication skills to convey analysis results. Hands-on collaboration with product team members, including product management, implementation team, data engineering, and data governance.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills. Ability to navigate a global and multicultural environment with ease.
- Results-oriented with an ownership mindset. Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders. Passion for data and analytics, and driving data value across all parts of an organization and ecosystems.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
